Mediterranean Suite



In the year 2008, the "Coordinating Association of gralla players in Vilafranca del Penedés, called her first competition for composing a work for gralla and organ, in which my work "Suite mediterrŕnia" was rewarded. In fact, what happened was that the jury declared void the first prize and gave two second prizes EX AEQUO, and one of them was my Suite.

My work is in 3 movements: I. Sardana, II. Capvespre and III. Corranda, and was premiered by the performers Jordi Mestres, gralla, and Jonatan Carbó, organ, who played it at the Santa Maria church in Vilafranca del Penedčs, during the concert of the day of the Awards ceremony, April 11th, 2008.
